Responsibilities

  • Lead the work of assigned employees
  • Counsel employees on task performance
  • Lead landscaping crew on large landscape install projects ensuring materials, labor and equipment are used as instructed
  • Inspect and prepare Daily Job Reports on landscape tasks and materials used
  • Maintain equipment and tools used in landscape installation and reports when service is required
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years prior experience in landscape installation, leading crews or related area
  • Associate Degrees in related fields and prior landscape management experience
  • Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, Landscape management, Landscape Maintenance, or Agronomy
  • Knowledge of local plant material, turf, etc.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape design, install and maintenance
  • Experience applying pesticides and fertilizers
  • Can operate & train using the following equipment: Bobcat, Dingo, sod cutter, tractor, mowers, verticutter, aerifier, truck, weed eater, trailer, roller, and power fertilizer spreader
  • Excellent time management and organization skills-Accurate record keeping & attention to details
  • Ability to efficiently work in a fast paced team environment
  • Strong oral and written communications skills-Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Understanding of quality assurance and able to operate efficiently & safely at all times

Responsibilities

  • The account manager position would be responsible for managing their own portfolio of commercial and residential landscape maintenance accounts
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and our company to ensure clients expectations are exceeded
  • Communication with clients- written and oral
  • Managing accounts through planning & scheduling their own crew and implementing tasks efficiently and on time
  • Maintaining budgets, compliance of contract specifications, client satisfaction
  • Business Development: building solid, long term relationships with current clients and soliciting new commercial & residential accounts
  • Property inspections to monitor landscape and turf health and to assist field crew in maintaining proper production and quality service
  • Selling enhancements and additional services to clients to improve their property
  • Preparing professional proposals & reports to clients
  • Reporting budgets, sales, and job-cost tracking results to management
  • Ensuring sound horticulture practices are adhered to for quality service

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in all phases of support, training, quality control and field operations of seasonal color beds
  • Assist in plant selection and procurement
  • Assist in seasonal color bed designs
  • Oversee and perform seasonal color installations to include: bed preparation, layout and installation of plants, and post-installation clean up
  • Oversee and perform all maintenance for seasonal color beds to include: pruning, grooming, weeding, weed and disease control, debris removal, water management, replacements, etc.
  • Accurate record keeping of daily operations, labor hours, tracking material usage, & inventory counts
  • Field inspections to assess seasonal color beds for health and vigor of plants & preparing reports
  • Communicating with operations manager and account manager regarding job tasks, scheduling, proactively addressing client concerns & suggesting solutions
  • Performing other job functions as directed
